FAMILY TREE HEALING : EVENTS

In this section I will post events that might be of interest. I occasionally conduct healing services or retreats that are open to the public. I may call attention to events given by others that are related to the interests of this website.

May 29-31, 2015: ACT Region 12 Retreat:: "LIVING LIFE FULLY IN LIGHT OF ETERNITY." St. Benedict's Abbey, Benet Lake, Wisconsin. Our presenter is Fr. Matthew Linn, SJ, a member of ACTheals (formerly ACT)  with advanced degrees in sociology, spirituality and theology. Matt has co-authored 22 books. The retreat will use Near Death Experiences (NDE) to reveal a Divine template for the spiritual journey into unconditional love, to deepen our positive memories to open to the fullness of life and heal our persistent negative memories so we can find our gifts and unique purpose in life. We will explore how the processes of this Divine template in our spiritual journey can increase our self-esteem, help us grow in peace and overcome our fear of death.

June 26-28, 2015. Week-end Retreat at Saint Anthony Retreat Center, San Antonio,TX: Restoration to God’s Original Plan. Last year we reflected on Yozefu Ssemakula’s book, Healing of Families, and in our Thursday discussion I introduced Luisa Piccarreta’s writings about the Third Fiat, the gift of Jesus’ Will for those who surrender their wills to Jesus, to actually carry out on earth what Our Father has decided in heaven. This year we will look more closely at what that would look like if we actually surrendered out wills to Jesus. How can we grow in our willingness and ability to surrender our wills to Jesus, and what would God’s kingdom look like if Jesus willed it in us?
Each of the stages of our life – childhood, youth, young adult, elder stage and the total gift of our self in dying – needs to be surrendered to Jesus’ Will. We will consider more closely these stages, our relationships – male/female, parental/child, friendships, etc., our family system and ancestors, and the suffering and illness we experience in light of Jesus’ transforming intercession, and pray for healing of each area. We must freely accept the transformation, since God respects our freedom. Our free acceptance is the one thing God cannot or will not do for us.
Registration: $250 for room or $175 for day participant.
